Oregano Oil is respected by many medical scientists for its all-around healing capabilities. Beeyoutiful’s pure, therapeutic Oregano Essential Oil is distilled from Origanum vulgare, the oregano plant which grows wild in the Mediterranean region, differing from the "oregano" found in grocery stores which is typically Spanish marjoram (Origanum marjoram) and does not share wild oregano's health supporting properties.
Hippocrates—the ancient Greek “father of medicine”—referred to oregano oil as a potent agent. Its antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic properties enable it to fight off infection of all kinds. The Greek philosopher Aristotle noticed that tortoises who ate snakes would then eat oregano. This appeared to prevent them from being poisoned, so he began to recommend it as an antidote for poison.
Oregano may well have first been used for its health properties before its now-famous seasoning talents were discovered. Ancient Egyptians prized oregano for its ability to disinfect wounds and aid the repairing process, and it may even have played a role in mummification. Throughout history Oregano continued to be used to help boost immunity and soothe respiratory woes.
Mixes well with: Atlas cedar, basil, bergamot, citronella, eucalyptus, lavender, lemon, orange, rosemary, tea tree, thyme, and wintergreen.
Topical: Can be mixed with a carrier oil to achieve an overall percentage of 1% Oregano oil (1 drop Oregano Oil to 1 teaspoon of Carrier Oil). Can be applied over wrist, feet, down the spine, and at the base of the neck.
Important: While most people are not allergic to oregano oil, it is recommended that you test to make sure you’re not one of the few who are. Apply a drop diluted with a bit of olive oil to the inside of your elbow. If there is no reaction after 10 minutes, you are probably not allergic to oregano oil.
Cleaning: Fantastic for use as a natural disinfectant. Mix 10 drops of Oregano Oil to 2 cups of water to create a cleaning spray. Can mix with other essential oils such as Lemon, Thyme, Orange, or Rosemary. You can also include 1 teaspoon of Castile soap to provide a small amount of suds.
Diffusing: Great to diffuse, especially when blended with other oils to help chase the bugs away.
Pregnancy/Nursing: Oregano Essential should NOT be used while pregnant or nursing.
Note: Do not use with children under 2 years old. Never use topically in a concentration greater than 1% Oregano Oil in a Carrier Oil. If you are on medication or have a known medical diagnosis, please check with your practitioner before using. Persons with known bleeding disorders should not use Oregano.

Because the Oregano Oil is highly concentrated, it should not be used undiluted unless it is being used solely for Aromatherapy (smelling it). Even then, please exercise caution. Although this is a natural product, it is very concentrated.
We recommend the use of a professional aromatherapist or a recipe from a reputable aromatherapy book when using 100% pure essential oils for any other purpose. As a general rule, it is best to dilute essential oils in Olive Oil, Almond Oil or any other food grade carrier oil before using, first mixing thoroughly to match the proportions given by the expert source.
WARNING: Always dilute before any use other than aromatherapy, never use undiluted. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes.
If pregnant or lactating, consult a practitioner before use.
IMPORTANT: Because essential oils are so very powerful and concentrated we advise against taking essential oils internally without the individual supervision and recommendation of a qualified practitioner
What can I say in this small space? Oregano EO is great for so many things and should be in everyone's first aid kit! I keep a bottle of Almond oil with Oregano EO in it in my fridge--5 drops Oregano to each teaspoon of carrier oil. I caught a ringworm and applied that several times a day and it was gone in 2 days! One of my grandson's was bit by a tick--we removed the tick with tweezers and applied this several times a day. No infection and within 3 days, the spot was gone.
Beeyoutiful's Oregano EO smells like fresh oregano and is of a high quality.
I diffuse Oregano in the fall/winter months to help keep my family healthy. I have tried other oils from big name brands that cost 4 times as much as the oils beeyoutiful sells, and the only thing greater about them is the cost! Beeyoutiful has a lifetime buyer right here. Great stuff!
Oregano is a must have for coughs. My daughter (2 1/2) was down with whooping cough and I used it at night in her humidifier. She was able to sleep all night without coughing. A little goes a long way so you only need a couple drops. Thank you Beeyoutiful.com for such great products.
I was so excited to find this product at such a great price. Oregano Oil is a must have for your all-natural winter "medicine" cabinet. We diffuse it through the house at night when someone is getting sick and dilute it in coconut oil to rub on feet when someone is coming down with sniffles!
Great for rubbing on lymph nodes and such, but make sure you use a carrier oil to mix with it (I always have coconut oil around). Oregano is very strong so it must be used with caution, but if used correctly, there are so many great uses for it!
With that being said, my family has been suffering from sore throats for a few weeks now. This stuff is great for helping take down the inflammation!
I had been using a few different essential oils to keep germs at bay this winter, when we were heavily exposed to Strep Throat. I quickly researched what we could do to keep from getting this, and found that Oregano Oil could really help. We began gargling three times a day with the oil and not only did we not get Strep Throat, but we began to finally kick all the cold and sinus symptoms we had been fighting all winter. This is a great oil that does so many things.
I have a love/hate relationship with oregano oil. It is strong...really strong. I have a sensitivity to strong odors and tastes, so it's sometimes hard to take. However, it's absolutely amazing stuff, so I often get over my sensitivity and use it anyway.
I once had let a cold go and I knew it was turning into bronchitis (I had it enough to recognize it). On Friday afternoon I also developed a serious ear ache and felt the infection moving into my ears and sinus. I started taking oregano oil and garlic every 3-4 hours, intending to get me through the weekend until I could see a doctor on Monday. It was really serious if I was going to break down and go to a doctor! By Monday morning the earache was gone, the sinus pressure was almost gone, and the cough was productive and lessening. I never did go to the doctor.
Now I have a diffuser and at the first sign of a cold, I start adding oregano oil to my favorite oils. I also use it in hot baths. It works wonders and I try to always have some on hand.
I have a chronic illness, so lots of foods I eat make my throat hurt afterwards. I have never found something to soothe my symptoms and reduce those swelling glands as good as oregano oil. I lift up my head and put 2 drops of down my throat and 2 drops under my tongue, so it can circulate the bloodstream. Makes me feel better every time! I always take it with me when I am out, cuz I never know when that swelling will flare up. It really gives instant relief to me.
Look up my review on clove oil to see what concoction I make with those two oils to kill candida. It works like none other for our family.
At the first sign of illness in our home, this goes straight in the diffuser and is rubbed on lymph nodes in a carrier oil. Those of us who are old enough also use it as a gargle and/ or under the tongue. Potent and powerful. A little goes a long way and destroys viruses.
I purchased this many years ago to have on hand. I have used this whenever I feel a cold coming on and it works so well. Just a couple drops in a shot glass with water or juice a couple times a day. As of right now I have a really bad case of poison oak on top of a previously unhealed poison oak! I've been beside myself trying to get healing. Thinking that I may either have this systemically or it has not gotten infected I started taking shots of the oregano oil three times a day along with garlic and after the second day I see a lot of improvement. Also, this morning I decided to incorporate some into my soap and wash all over the poison oak area as I read online it can help. I am astonished! Every single time I wash or get the area wet I get major yellow goop draining out for what seems like an hour. With the oil in the soap there was no drainage! None! You can't believe what this does for me. No blotting my legs over and over before I dress. This is awesome stuff!
I recently got strep throat and tried lots of different things before remembering that I had some Oregano oil in the cupboard. I immediately started taking 3-4 drops of oregano oil with olive oil in a capsule 3x a day. I also started putting 2 drops in some warm water with 1/2 tsp of salt and gargled every few hours. Just a few hours after the first treatment, throat was much much better. Still sore but not on fire. And now, 2 days after starting this treatment, can barely tell I am sick! WOW! That worked quicker than if I had gone to get antibiotics. Wonderful product!
I have had bad acne for the past year and have literally tried everything. I had read up on Oregano Oils Anti-Bacterial qualities and decided to give it a try. I put some on the acne-effected areas of my face and within the first night the bumps and redness had significantly decreased. My acne is currently at its best as it his been since it started becoming a problem. I would recommend this alone for acne, although it has many other uses as well!
We have 6 children 7 yrs & under. At the first sign of someone being sick everyone gets a drop or two of this oil under their tongue. When fully sick they get 1-3 drops, depending on age, twice a day until the sickness is gone. Illnesses that cause others a 2-3 week period of yuckiness go through our whole family of 8 in less than a week. I recommend this to anyone who might be interested!!!

"This Oregano oil has strong camphorous notes accompanied by slightly sweet, herbaceous notes. This oil has a slight yellow tinge to it. I don't particularly like the smell of Oregano, but it's such a useful oil, I use it anyway."
How do your essential oils compare to the very popular "home party" ones?
What oil do you dilute the blends?
Question by: Laura Price on May 31, 2017 10:11:00 AM
We believe our essential oils are of top quality and we post the GC/MS test results for each batch to back it up. Show them to your aromatherapist and see what they say. Most "home party" or network marketing oil companies won't release their GC/MS test results, and it kinda leaves you wondering "why?" When independent testing has been done, unfortunately the popular companies have not been blemish free. That's not to say it couldn't happen to any company on occasion, but I remember one case where one of the biggest companies was caught putting a synthetic into their peppermint oil to make it smell sweeter. That doesn't get in their by accident. So, be careful, and try not to only get your information from somebody who has a financial interest in you buying their oils - even us. Nobody knows everything and nobody is perfect despite what they might like to project. But we try to get the best, for a reasonable price.
