Feeling blue or a little down, need a soothing massage, or want to clean out a stale house? Grab a bottle of Geranium Essential Oil! This whimsical and warm essential oil is versatile enough to be used with the entire family. First used in Africa, Geranium Essential Oil was prized as a staple remedy amongst the Pharaohs of Egypt before migrating to Europe where its popularity grew. Beeyoutiful’s Geranium Essential Oil can be blended with a carrier oil like Sweet Almond Oil. It also blends well with Ylang Ylang, Citronella, Clary Sage, Orange, Lemon, and Rosemary Essential Oils.
Diffusing: Beeyoutiful®'s Geranium Essential Oil is an incredible soothing fragrance to relieve the stress of day, uplift your outlook, soothe away tension, and energize the brain! It is also fantastic to use for women during "that time of the month". It can be diffused straight or mixed with other oils in the diffuser.
Topical: Mixing Geranium with Sweet Almond Oil or Jojoba Oil can make a lovely floral oil that helps to quiet aching bodies, soothe unpleasant menstrual symptoms, and perk up the dullest of moods. Blend 2-3 drops of Geranium Essential Oil per teaspoon of carrier oil. If any is left, store in a dark bottle. Geranium Oil can also be added to your favorite body lotion in order to help soothe skin discomfort.
Household Uses: Geranium is an excellent insect repellent. It can be combined with your favorite body lotion to use on the skin or diffused in the kitchen to keep flies away from the food. Add a few drops to your laundry detergent to enjoy the pleasant smell of the garden's beauty on your clothes or sheets.
Caution: Geranium Essential Oil has some known interactions with medications, so please see your doctor before prior to using Geranium Essential Oil if you are on any medications. Maximum topical concentration is 17% (17 drops of Geranium Essential Oil to 1 teaspoon of a carrier oil).
Pregnancy/Lactation: Although considered safe in general for use during pregnancy and lactation, we advise that you speak with your healthcare practitioner prior to use to insure it is appropriate for your specific situation.

This oil was not on my radar, but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try! So glad I did! Love the smell, makes a rainy day (or ten in a row) happier, does help with monthly madness. Love it! ~ and I don't particularly like the flower itself. ;)
I LOVE the smell of this!! I've been using it to help relieve menstrual cramps and moodiness and so far so good! I've also diffused it with lemongrass, frankincense, and clary sage. Oh Yum! I've never used this oil before and I think this is my new favorite oil!
Smells wonderful-i just bought this oil for the first time after reading an article about it lifting moods. Everyone who comes into our house loves the smell and mentions how clean the house smells. I have only used it with orange oil-I haven't tried it with any other oils yet but I think it would mix well with several others. I will buy it again.
I just bought this for the first time and love it! I had read an article about Geranium Essential Oil giving a feeling of contentment. It really does. It smells wonderful and only takes a few drops in my diffuser to fill the whole house with a beautiful smell. I realized after using it a few days that it really does give me a happy outlook on busy, stressful days. I have not mixed it with any other oils yet but I am going to experiment soon.
Geranium also works on bruises! I was hit in the face by one of our goats (she was trying to get to the other goat next to me through a fence) and I had a large bruise on my face. I put geranium on my face and the swelling went down the next day, and I never had a super dark bruise, it was just a bit yellow for a couple days and then was gone!
This oil is one of our favorites--we diffuse it often as a stress-reliever and to give our house a fresh, clean feel. Everyone loves it, because it's so uplifting. My 13 year old son will even set up diffusers around the house all on his own when we are having a stressful day! The oil has a pleasant, herbal and woodsy scent, like being outdoors.
I recently purchased geranium essential oil for the second time and decided to give the bottle to my friend as a gift for her birthday. She called me back a few days later amazed at how it was helping her acne on he face. She is now a fan!! I also love using it as a massage oil and especially as a soothing pick me up oil after labor and delivery...its one of my favorites!

"Geranium is one of my favorite oils. I use it a lot and love the smell. When I first opened the bottle, I didn't think it really smelled like Geranium, but as I continued my various checks on it, I realized it just smelled extra fresh. It has an almost green along with the expected strong floral note."
How do your essential oils compare to the very popular "home party" ones?
What oil do you dilute the blends?

We believe our essential oils are of top quality and we post the GC/MS test results for each batch to back it up. Show them to your aromatherapist and see what they say. Most "home party" or network marketing oil companies won't release their GC/MS test results, and it kinda leaves you wondering "why?" When independent testing has been done, unfortunately the popular companies have not been blemish free. That's not to say it couldn't happen to any company on occasion, but I remember one case where one of the biggest companies was caught putting a synthetic into their peppermint oil to make it smell sweeter. That doesn't get in their by accident. So, be careful, and try not to only get your information from somebody who has a financial interest in you buying their oils - even us. Nobody knows everything and nobody is perfect despite what they might like to project. But we try to get the best, for a reasonable price.

What's the shelf life of essential oils? I would like to buy Geranium on sale right now but plan to give it to my sister when I go on vacation next year in October 2017. Thank you!
