It might be argued that Ylang Ylang Essential Oil has one of the most soothing, romantic aromas. Pairing well with many other essential oils or used alone, this essential oil has brought pleasure to many throughout the years. This beautiful start shaped flower, known as a “poor man’s jasmine”, was often used to adorn wedding beds in Indonesia due to its fragrant nature and romantic qualities.
Ylang Ylang is known for its calming and soothing affects, and therefore is great for helping with tension, shock, anxiety, fear, and panic. It can also help soothe insomnia. Due to the relaxing affect, it may also help with decreased libido, because it can help those with fears or anxiety in relationship to performance issues be able to relax. Finally, it is very helpful in lowering blood pressure and rapid heartrates and breathing. This is due to the calming effect on the body.
Diffuser- Diffusing Beeyoutiful’s During times of stress or when you need to relax, Ylang Ylang is a great choice to help calm yourself down. Sitting quietly and breathing in this delightful aroma can help relieve stress, relax muscles, lower rapid pulse, and relieve anxiety.
Massage Oil/Bath- A bath with a small amount of Beeyoutiful’s Jojoba or Sweet Almond oil and a few drops of Ylang Ylang can make for a very relaxing experience. Or put a few drops of Ylang Ylang to one of these carrier oils and massage it in. Let your stress melt away and the tension in your muscles disappear. Please note: although sensitivity is rare, please always use a carrier oil and always test a small amount before using fully.
Personal Care - Add a few drops of Ylang Ylang oil to your lotion or shampoo! This is a great way to carry a small amount of the aroma with you and get the benefits throughout the day. (This works best with natural, scent free lotions).

We've been using this oil for years! My kids ask for it if they are having trouble falling asleep. It helps my brain to calm down when it seems to be running non-stop, and is soothing after a stressful time. Our whole family loves the aroma! I've been out for some time, but decided to stock up!
