There's not much better than the clean, refreshing smell of a bright orange tangerine on a cold winter day! It's enough to bring warmth and life to even the longest and dreariest of winters. Beeyoutiful®’s Tangerine Essential Oil is all that and more in a bottle. Tangerines also have been prized in Chinese culture for thousands of years for both food and medicinal qualities. Tangerine's unique name comes from Tangiers, Morocco, where Tangerines first made their way into European culture.
Cold pressed from the skin of the tangerine, the essential oil is orange in color and contains a large percentage of limonene as its active ingredient. It helps aid in brightening a dreary mood, can help relax and at the same time invigorate the mind, and is considered a great cleanser. Pairs well with Frankincense, Grapefruit, Lemon, Cinnamon, Clary Sage, Patchouli, Myrrh, and Clove.
Cleaning: A few drops can be added to your dishwasher for each cycle to boost cleaning and as an added rinse agent. For general cleaning, mix 12 drops of Tangerine, Lemon, Spearmint, and Thyme into a 32 oz spray bottle and fill with water; shake well and use to clean and disinfect.
Diffusing: Can be diffused alone to help brighten the mood or relax the mind, or mixed with several other oils. Chamomile and Tangerine with a hint of Cinnamon is a great combination for relaxation. Tangerine and Patchouli would be optimal for diffusing to assist with cleansing after illness.
Note: Old or oxidized oils should be avoided and can cause skin sensitization.
Pregnancy/Nursing: Avoid during pregnancy; if pregnant or lactating, consult a practitioner before use.

This oil has a fresh, crisp, and sweet aroma. It is one of my favorites. I put a few drops on cotton pads and put them in my vacuum cleaner canister. Every time I vacuum, the whole house smells good! It also works great in the diffuser to create a cheerful, pick-me-up atmosphere in our home.
Tangerine-what can I say-I love using it. I make my own general purpose cleaners and use EOs to aid the germ killing. Tangerine is one of my favs! It makes my home smell so fresh and bright! I add vinegar to my rinse cycle for laundry and Tangerine is one of my favorite EOs to add in that vinegar to freshen my laundry.
How do your essential oils compare to the very popular "home party" ones?
What oil do you dilute the blends?

We believe our essential oils are of top quality and we post the GC/MS test results for each batch to back it up. Show them to your aromatherapist and see what they say. Most "home party" or network marketing oil companies won't release their GC/MS test results, and it kinda leaves you wondering "why?" When independent testing has been done, unfortunately the popular companies have not been blemish free. That's not to say it couldn't happen to any company on occasion, but I remember one case where one of the biggest companies was caught putting a synthetic into their peppermint oil to make it smell sweeter. That doesn't get in their by accident. So, be careful, and try not to only get your information from somebody who has a financial interest in you buying their oils - even us. Nobody knows everything and nobody is perfect despite what they might like to project. But we try to get the best, for a reasonable price.
