Nothing is worse than that intense need to scratch the large red welts that appear after you've been snacked upon by large ugly buzzards masquerading as small bugs. You can lose sleep, lose your mind, and feel like you'll lose small children in the process. Beeyoutiful's Relieve It is here to save your night and all the hours in between!
Each family has one... that person so sweet that they are literally a buffet for bugs. When we chose essential oils for this blend, we thought about exactly what our itchiest family member needed. We pulled out the big guns that all have shown benefit to irritated skin. The essential oils are carefully blended and added to Jojoba Oil, ready to bring you relief in a moment!
When we tested it on our loved ones, they were begging for more. One of our littlest woke up crying in the night, but after a few cuddles and dabs of Relieve It, they were soothed and snuggled back down for the rest of the night.
The Secrets of the Blend Explained:
Chamomile Essential Oil (chamaemelum nobile)- Known for its calming and soothing properties; bringing quick relief.
Frankincense Essential Oil (Boswellia frerana)- Frankincense has been used since ancient times and is highly prized for skin irritations.
Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia) - When soothing is needed, Lavender is usually at the top of the list. Its light floral aroma also lends to the delightful fragrance.
Tea Tree Essential Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) - Some studies have shown that Tea Tree Oil may reduce the skin reaction to bug bites. It's a hall of fame nominee in the world of essential oils from countless individuals who love its effects on bug bites.
Thyme Essential Oil (Thymus vulgaris) - Thymol is the active ingredient responsible for Thyme's antiseptic properties, which is believed to be the reason that Thyme is so soothing for bug bites.
Basil EssentialOil (Ocimum basilicum) - Known for helping muscles to relax, it is thought to soothe itches and bites through this same mechanism of action.
Vetiver Essential Oil (Vetiveria zizanioides Stapf) - This oil is distilled from the roots of a perennial grass native to India. Known specifically for being an oil that promotes grounding and relaxation, it is also beneficial for calming the nervous system and promoting healing of wounds.
Helichrysum Essential Oil (Helichrysum italicum) - Due to its high content of sesquiterpenes and esters, Helichrysum has been used traditionally as a topical analgesic in skin applications. Also, it's believed to encourage regeneration and restoration of tissues.
Palmarosa Essential Oil (Cymbopogon martini)- This oil helps promote hydration, has antiseptic properties, and supports healthy wound healing, promoting skin restoration and preventing infections.
Rosewood Essential Oil (Aniba rosaeodora var. amazonica Ducke) - Containing both an analgesic and antiseptic, Rosewood's calming and soothing affects add synergy to the blend.
Spruce Essential Oil (Tsuga canadensis)- Spruce works particularly well in relation to Helichrysum to help discourage the formation of scars and promote healing.
Note: Relieve It should not be used on children under 2 years old.

Keep away from the eyes and mouth. Keep out of reach of small children.
Had a mysterious sting that welted up very quickly in large area on my neck. I couldn't leave it alone, and it hurt more than a typical sting. I tried Relieve-It for the first time for me personally, and within 30 seconds the pain and itch both started to go away. Within 15 minutes I had no symptoms other than a small red dot where the bite was, and a tiny welt remaining. Over the course of about an hour, the welt was gone completely.
My children get very large and painful reactions when they are bit by black gnats and mosquitoes. Whenever I use this on the children (which is frequently), they stop scratching right away, and as long as I keep applying a couple times a day, they won't mess with the bites at all. That makes the reaction go away quickly and completely. What usually lasts a week or more is gone within a couple days. I love using this. I am at the end of the small vial I'd had, and need to order more. Thank you, Beeyoutiful, for this product!
I love this product for taking the itch out of insect bites. Miracle salve works for many itches, and I often use it, but it doesn't work for mosquito bites. Relieve-it does! it works on ant bites, hives, and mysterious itches too, especially the ones that keep you awake at night! Keep a bottle in your travel case or first aid kit.
we purchased the sample of Relieve It and just in time. Our family was getting eaten alive by mites and mosquitoes. We ran out of the Relieve It sample because it was so effective. My daughter begged me to order more!
I tried this on my very dubious, mosquito-bitten 9year old. Once it had dried, her bites stopped itching and she was able to get to sleep. It's like magic! The scent is pleasant and not overpowering. Recommended.
Chiggers, Fire ants, and other such Texas critters are out in full force now. I bought Relieve It last order and am so happy with the results. It stops chigger itch immediately and my 7 year old, who is allergic to ants and mosquitos, keeps it handy so she doesn't swell up. I am ordering 2 more to have handy.
I was getting bites/hives all over. These "bites" would swell and was very intensive itch. Nothing was working over the counter. I went to Dr, no idea. Dermatologist, no idea. Dermatologist prescribed me medicated anti-itch cream. I was talking to a friend, who was talking about essential oils, and I then remembered I had gotten this in a sample pack for the kids. As soon as I got home - I put this one. Instantly stopped the itch! I would stop the itching between 10-12 hours! Still haven't figured out why I have these "bites", but I am now ordering a larger rollerball for them and for my kids this summer for mosquito bites!
"This blend has a strong earthy, herbaceous smell. It has several oils with smells which I don't particularly like (thyme, tea tree and vetiver) but they are effective oils. The flower undertones soften the stronger, herbaceous ones and they do blend well."
Can this be applied to open skin where the bites have been scratched to the point of bleeding?

How do your essential oils compare to the very popular "home party" ones?
What oil do you dilute the blends?

We believe our essential oils are of top quality and we post the GC/MS test results for each batch to back it up. Show them to your aromatherapist and see what they say. Most "home party" or network marketing oil companies won't release their GC/MS test results, and it kinda leaves you wondering "why?" When independent testing has been done, unfortunately the popular companies have not been blemish free. That's not to say it couldn't happen to any company on occasion, but I remember one case where one of the biggest companies was caught putting a synthetic into their peppermint oil to make it smell sweeter. That doesn't get in their by accident. So, be careful, and try not to only get your information from somebody who has a financial interest in you buying their oils - even us. Nobody knows everything and nobody is perfect despite what they might like to project. But we try to get the best, for a reasonable price.
