    • I see The BerryWell dosage is every three hours as needed. What if I want to take it as a preventative? Does it work in that way? Or is it primarily to be used once symptoms start? If it can be taken as a preventative, what would the daily dosage be?
    • Hello Laura, =)

We personally use Berrywell "as needed" in our family. As a preventative I dole out a dose to everybody as we are going out the door to spend time with groups of people who might be sick and usually try to take a dose when we get back home however many hours later. Often though, we just get the one dose. When sick with an acute illness we personally take it as often as every hour. We can usually tell by our symptoms and how we feel when it's time to do another dose of it. Often times when you take it when you have a cold there will be a lessening of congestion and drainage that happens right away...when that pressure returns you know it's time to dose again. If we are just fighting off something but it isn't bad yet we usually try to take it three times a day.

Hope this is somewhat helpful! Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

    • Is Berry Well safe to take during pregnancy?
    • Yes, BerryWell should be fine to use during pregnancy as long as you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. (I have taken it with my last two pregnancies!) But we do suggest, as with all supplements, that you check with your midwife prior to use to insure that it is appropriate for your situation!

    • I love berry well, it has really helped my three young children with allergies and colds. But I was wondering if it helps defend against the stomache bug?

    • In theory yes it should, because it does boost the immune system on a whole. We highly suggest BerryWell be used in conjunction with a probiotic like Tummy Tuneup for a multi-defense protection!

    • Has anyone ever taken Berry Well that has previously had an allergic reaction to a bee sting? I had a reaction when I was a child ( just swelling on my leg where the sting was) but have not gotten stung since. I really want to try this product but don't know how safe it would be.....
    • I have terribly reactions to bee stings (had to go to the hospital once), and have no problem with taking BerryWell. But I also have no problems with honey. Typically people allergic to bee stings can consume bee products without problems, it is only a small percentage of people that have problems with both.

So if you know you have an allergy to bee products, I would not take this product. But if you regularly consume bee products, you should be fine!

    • For adults and children can this be taken daily, whether we are sick or not? If so, would the dose just be once a day?
    • Yes, we actually suggest that it would be a great daily preventative to be taken during the cold/flu seasons in particular! It is a great way to help boost the immune system, especially when we are exposed frequently to them!

    • Does Berry Well need to be refrigerated after opening? I couldn't find where it stated one way or the other on the bottle or on the site. Thank you!
    • Actually, no, it not only doesn't need to be refrigerated but is best when not refrigerated! We suggest storing it in a dark, cool cabinet to maintain potency!

    • Does it have to be stored in the frig, and how long is it's shelf life?
    • BerryWell should not be stored in the refrigerator but room temperature for the best results. We do suggest that you store in a dark cabinet when not in use!

The shelf life on BerryWell is between 2-3 years!
