- I see The BerryWell dosage is every three hours as needed. What if I want to take it as a preventative? Does it work in that way? Or is it primarily to be used once symptoms start? If it can be taken as a preventative, what would the daily dosage be?
- Hello Laura, =)
We personally use Berrywell "as needed" in our family. As a preventative I dole out a dose to everybody as we are going out the door to spend time with groups of people who might be sick and usually try to take a dose when we get back home however many hours later. Often though, we just get the one dose. When sick with an acute illness we personally take it as often as every hour. We can usually tell by our symptoms and how we feel when it's time to do another dose of it. Often times when you take it when you have a cold there will be a lessening of congestion and drainage that happens right away...when that pressure returns you know it's time to dose again. If we are just fighting off something but it isn't bad yet we usually try to take it three times a day.
Hope this is somewhat helpful! Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
