Myrrh Oil Extract differs slightly in properties from Myrrh Essential Oil due to a proprietary gurgun balsam resin oil extraction method instead of the steam distillation method used for most essential oils. Beeyoutiful's Myrrh Extract is a really great oil for topical use, even more beneficial for use with dermal applications than the distilled essential oil. While it does have a lower concentration of aromatherapeutic properties that we know are associated with Myrrh Essential Oil, it also has the additional benefits of the extracted resin. This specific oil is actually highly sought after in the skin care and cosmetic industry.
This is definitely a more economical choice if you primarily use your Myrrh Oil for topical application. The Myrrh Essential Oil is more suited for your aromatherapy needs.
Myrrh Exctract can be paired with essential oils such as Frankincense, Bergamot, Chamomile, Clove, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Rosemary, and Tea tree oil. Myrrh is versatile and can be mixed with lotions, shampoos, and carrier oils to use on the skin.
Topical: Add a drop to your lotion or a carrier oil and then massage gently into the skin to revive and rejuvenate. It can also be massaged with a carrier oil on the soles of the feet when exposed to sickness.

"Myrrh is not one of my favorite smelling oils. But the fresh smell of this oil does help. Myrrh is a base note oil, with deep, earthy, musky notes. It's not a thin oil and this bottle has a rich golden color."
