Brown Eyed Girl: Your Everyday Look ™ Tutorial for Brown Eyes
Rosanna complemented her brown eyes with this lovely eye color combination. She's 34 years old (Shh, don't tell her we told!) and her perfect foundation shade is Genevieve.
Colors in this set: Sandstone Cream, Matte Cream, Chocolate Plum, Matte Black.
This set is discounted 10% off retail price!
Step 1 Using the Large All-Over brush, apply Sandstone Cream over the lid, up to the crease.
Step 2 Buff Matte Cream on the upper brow bone with the Pointed Sculptor brush.
Step 3 Brush Chocolate Plum into the crease and wing it down into the V at the outer corner of the eye with the Angled Sculptor brush. Next, foil the Chocolate Plum by wetting the top of the brush before dipping into the powder, and apply on the outer two-thirds of the eyelid. For a less dramatic look, skip the foiling process. (watch how to foil, here!)
Step 4 Stirring a dampened Eyeliner brush into Matte Black, use it as an eyeliner on the upper and lower lash lines. We love how this look has a simple elegance with an earthy flair.
I am so excited to be the first to review this. I have never been that good with knowing how to apply makeup, and I just LOVE the step by step instructions included online and in the catalog. It was also so nice to know which colors go well together for complementing brown eyes.
I especially loved the Matte Black. In regular (non mineral) makeup, black can look too heavy, especially for a woman in her 40’s. This black is lovely and not too overpowering. This set will definitely be my go-to every day look for the majority of the week.
I would love to see more of these type of sets of colors that go well together for different eye colors...I have a hard time knowing which colors combine well, and as a busy mama, I don’t have much time to experiment.
