Army is a medium green with a dash of silver and hint of gold in the undertones adding a rich shimmer. Applies semi sheer dry and full coverage when foiled. Especially flattering for hazel, blue and brown eyes. Especially complimentary to earth tones.
I ordered this recently to add a little variety to my neutral makeup palette and am so glad I did! The green and gold goes perfectly with my hazel eyes and really makes them stand out. I use it to line my upper lash line and I blend it into my outer crease and that works really well without being overpowering!
I love this color....it’s got the green undertones with flecks of gold. Really sets off my brown eyes and olive complexion nicely. I use it an eyeliner on my top lid, and it is just right for this 47 year old mama.
I've had this eyeshadow a while & haven't worn it much. I got it to accent a purple color I got. I actually decided to try it as an eye liner the other day (mixing w/a drop of water) and was really impressed with the beautiful gold color it created. I'm looking forward to trying some other things with it now. it's really cool how these mineral make up colors can vary so much between a dry or wet application. And a little goes a really long way. So the price for the amount you get is really good.
I hesitated to purchase this eye color because I don't wear army green, and wasn't sure I wanted my eyes that color. However, I trusted the description and went for it. I am so glad I did! It is not army green, but a lovely gold/green that is truly delightful. I put it on over my Beeyoutiful foundation and use it either dry or foiled. Both are great.
it looks easy on the video, but maybe I just don't have enough time on my hands (4 little ones :). I find it doesn't go on smooth and then it wipes off easily in time.
I only used lotion as my base and not their lavender spritzer, so maybe that's the difference
I was a little skeptical about trying this product, but really fell in love with the softness of the green. I have brown eyes, and I loved that this color has some gold undertones. I paired this with a dark brown in the crease, and brown liner.
